PNG Day in Columbus, Ohio, April 26, 2006
( Fallbrook, CA) – The Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) will conduct the first of its two scheduled PNG Days this year on April 26, 2006 in Columbus, Ohio. The event is in conjunction with the Central States Numismatic Society (CSNS) annual convention in the Grater Columbus Convention Center, April 27 – 29.
Public admission to PNG Day is free, but by invitation only.
“Collectors are cordially requested to obtain a complimentary invitation by contacting any participating PNG member-dealer or PNG headquarters. An online membership directory can be found at www.PNGdealers.com,” said Robert Brueggeman, PNG Executive Director.
Each year PNG showcases its member-dealers to the collecting public by conducting two, one-day coin and bank note shows; one with CSNS, the other with the American Numismatic Association (ANA).
“We are privileged to work with these two outstanding numismatic organizations. It gives us a chance to put a national spotlight on the exceptionally high quality of merchandise and service offered by PNG member-dealers,” explained Brueggeman.
Founded in 1955, the PNG is a nonprofit organization composed of the country’s top rare coin and paper money dealers. All PNG members must adhere to a strict Code of Ethics in the buying and selling of numismatic merchandise, and must support a Collector’s Bill of Rights. The second PNG Day of 2006 will be conducted August 15 in Denver, Colorado in conjunction with the ANA World’s Fair of Money ® convention.
